There’s LOTS of new stuff going on at Zu-Li Designs this week! First off…this blog is new! Each Wednesday I’ll keep you posted on what I’ve been up to over the last few days.
I’ve also been busy re-designing the packaging for my magnets, buttons, and magnetic necklaces. I wanted to create something fun, streamlined, and professional looking. I love fashion magazines & was inspired by their white pages and black letters with pops of color. Each of my items are attached to one of these new spiffy cards & wrapped in a crystal clear bag to keep it safe and pretty.
Last, but certainly not least, I’m super-duper stoked about helping Gimme Shelter Pet Adoption of Sarasota, FL. Gimme Shelter is a non-profit charitable organization founded by the very cool Miss Michelle Sampson. She founded this awesome organization in 2005 so she could help rescue shelter animals who are on death row. She has a group of volunteers who help her locate animals in need and foster these animals until they can find a permanent home. This girl goes all out! She hosts some really cool charity events. Earlier this month she organized the “Hair of the Dog Mystical Magic Charity Event” which had fortune tellers, a fashion & hair show, D.J., massages, glitter tattoos and much more. She spreads the word about the importance of spaying & neutering, the truth about puppy mills, and is a doggie foster mom too. Her organization has saved atleast 400 animals from being euthanized and found happy homes for about 600 animals.
A portion of every sale at Zu-Li Designs goes towards helping Gimme Shelter and the lovely animals they rescue. I’ll also be posting pics of animals needing good homes on Facebook and Twitter too.
